Useful books for Internship

I searched a lot about what to read before I start my residency but eventually everybody says enjoy your free time  with your family and friends....once you start your residency you will get to know what to read...and where you are weak ....

though seriously If you really wanna spend some time and brush up your medical skills then I would say

  1. read your ACLS, BLS provider manual...I am sure you gonna need this everyday..
  2. check out this book on amazon..you can also have a look of inside....http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0963406302/ref=nosim/wholehogbookstor
  3. If you are looking for something case based study then NMS is a really good book..you can also searchon gooogle Library..and you will get it easily ..though some pages are missing..but good to begin with...
  4. Epocrates on Iphone and Maxwell are also good resources..
  5. uptodate will be better resource once you start your residency
  6. Washington Manual: if your basics are not clear...
  7. Pharmacopedia
  8. Case files for internal Medicine : good to begin with...
  9. Dont forget to learn Healthy cooking ..
Once I will start my Intern year, I will keep updating about books to read....
